Yes. The client is free to download and play. There are no microtransactions, no premium tiers, no patron-only content. The project is funded by volunteers and hosted on a shoestring.

Absolutely. About 30% of our active players started here with zero RP experience. We run weekly intro nights, and our Stewards will happily walk you through your first scene.

Mostly narrative, character-driven RP — taverns, political intrigue, questing, romance, faction wars, slice-of-life. Noerotic roleplay (ERP) in public scenes. Private, consensual ERP between adult players is allowed in private chambers, but it's not what the realm is built around.

Hard consent for combat, capture, and intimate scenes. Players can opt in or out of any of these per scene. Stewards enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy for harassment, slurs, real-world doxxing, and underage characters in mature scenes.

No. Eorzea Reborn is a standalone fan client and does not require an active FFXIV subscription. That said, the project celebrates FFXIV — you'll get more out of it if you've played the source material.

There are scenes running every night across our timezones (EU, NA, OCE). Peak is around 19:00 in each region. The Discord is active 24/7.

Please do — guilds, free companies, and family circles are some of the strongest engines of long-running story. We have an onboarding process for groups of 5+ that gets you a private channel.

A small Steward team (15 volunteer moderators) handles reports, runs scheduled events, and oversees the consent panel. Bans for serious violations are public-record (with the offender's name redacted).
