System Requirements

If you're playing the official FFXIV client today, you can play Eorzea Reborn.

Most players are roleplaying within 45 minutes of starting the download.

Download the client
Grab the latest launcher from the download box below. The download is roughly 12 GB on first install.

Verify the install
Run the installer. On first launch it will check file integrity and patch to the current version.

Create your character
Choose race, class, and the starting city-state. Don't overthink it — your story can change everything later.

Read the realm primer (15 min)
Inside the launcher you'll find a short PDF: the consent system, the calendar, current arcs, and how to find a scene tonight.

Join the Discord
All scene planning, GM announcements, and player matchmaking happens in Discord. Link is in the launcher.

Walk into your first scene
Step into the Quicksand tavern in Ul'dah — there are always introduction scenes running there. Say hello in /say.

That's it — you're in the realm.

If anything went sideways, the troubleshooting section below covers the usual suspects.

Troubleshooting

Tap a question for the fastest known fix. Stewards in Discord handle anything not listed here.

Right-click the launcher → Properties → Compatibility → run as administrator. We're working on a fix for this.

Pause and resume the launcher. If that doesn't help, delete the .patchcache folder in your install directory and restart.

Update GPU drivers, then launch with the --safe-mode flag. Most modern cards work out of the box.

Hop into Discord's #lfrp channel. Stewards run pickup scenes nightly — you'll be in one within an hour.
